A better tomorrow

Everyone is hopeful for a better tomorrow. That's why we say "Good morning" at the start of the day as it's an indicator of the hope within that welcomes the dawning of a new day to bring better fortunes our way. God's mercies are new every morning and His compassion's do not fail Lamentations 3:22-23 . When faced with adversity it becomes harder to see a better tomorrow; but resilient people are focused on the fact that trouble is only a comma in the sentence of life. At a time where fear has gripped many hearts because of various reasons it is difficult to remain hopeful. Without hope you cannot have the faith necessary to live. Faith is the substance of what is hoped for Hebrews 11:1 . Faith gives hope tangibility. To be without hope is to open the door of low living. as hopelessness is the start of damnation in life. You and I were born for a reason. We are not just statistics, making up numbers in any particular nation. You and I were born to reign in li

Arise!!

The world today is one where many feel as though life is beating them down. The different challenges we face in this journey called life have punched many down and out. The fuel price increases, the job cuts, economic recession in different parts of the world, government changes either through the ballot or bullet, governments going broke, floods, drought, to just but name a few things facing many in the world today. It's difficult to go to a party and you don't hear bad news relating to someone you know. The world is changing. The weather patterns are affected by global warming, societal values held by previous generations are being obliterated by the ones following, and guess what, life for many is a nightmare. Today, I want to encourage that person who is lying down beaten by life. We all at times go through situations in life where we are down. It may appear that life's challenges have handed down a technical knockout blow, but humanity was not made to be beaten by lif

Look and See Well.

What do you see of 2011? The answer to this question will reveal how you are going to prepare for the journey called 2011. This year has already been described as tough by politicians, prophetic by bible scholars, difficult by business leaders and challenging by a host of other people. Everyone basis their opinion of the outlook for the year based on an 'outlook' of life that is the foundation of their life. Many of us, on a daily basis, look at a mirror that gives us an 'outlook' of how we look before we step out into the world. To succeed today we need to have the right outlook. Seeing correctly is vital for the journey ahead. What you see ahead determines how you run the race. Look at the children of Israel. The left Egypt to go into their promised land but only 2 of those that left Egypt entered. their promised land. A conservative population of the Children of Israel that was led by Moses was approximately 1 million. The reason the others didn't enter the prom

A New Day

Welcome to a new year. I am a firm believer that the days can only get better. Your tomorrow will be better than yesterday. The Word of God is clear that the path of the just shines brighter and brighter( Prov 4:18 ) not gloomier and doomier as we age or as predicted by economists. You and I were born for a reason and that purpose will not be buried in the mire that life can be. You have a responsibility to God and mankind to be the best that you were created to be.You were not born a failure and not named a failure. When you were born there was joy irrespective of the circumstances surrounding your birth. That joy cannot be deflated because of the journey that life at times takes us through. Usually at the beginning of the year most people are setting goals or targets for the next 365 days. A goal on paper is worthless until you decide the how to accomplish that goal. To just say I will increase financially is worthless if I don't set my finances in order and start by gathering
