God of Vengeance

Day 200

Reading: Jeremiah 15:1 - Jeremiah 17:27

As I woke up I had a restlessness in my spirit. As I drove to work I travailed in prayer for I knew that God desires to do something great in our generation. We live in a day and age where the world has forgotten God. We don't seem to have any sense of God in the world today. However, I have news that if God is God the tables are about to be turned.

God is about to release His vengeance on the world. The world is about to see manifestations of God's power like never before. I don't know about you but I am already for God to come and change the order in the world. For too long God has been relegated to the back and even kicked out of the scene. However, God is raising a new generation of children who will show off His glory and power.

God is about to remember His children who seem forgotten. The world has mocked you asking where now is your God? I tell you to get ready for the day of vengeance is nigh. Prepare to see your promotion appear unexpectedly because He is God. God made it clear to me this morning that He will take vengeance on your persecutors. Your vindication is settled and judgement has been passed. The earth is about to see the effects of God's judgement releasing vengeance on the earth for the people of God.

God will release you from the grip of the terrible one. Get set to walk away from diseases that have gripped generations of your family. Generational curses that have plagued generations will suddenly disappear. God will deliver you from the wicked. Every wicked set up that entrapped you will suddenly evaporate.

Goliath spoke for 40 days before David showed up. Goliath had mocked God and the children of Israel. What Goliath didn't know is what also Saul and Israel did not know, that God was about to exact His vengeance. David was used by God to execute Goliath. God is raising Davids who will execute the Goliaths of our age.

Lastly, Pharoah thought he could mock God. He kept playing cat and mouse with Moses changing his mind never releasing the children of Israel to go worship God. God judged Egypt in one night where He sent an angel to destroy the land. Get ready for your captors to be judged in like fashion.

Memory Verse: Jeremiah 15:16

Now is....

Everyday I seek to share something that I have learnt through the daily reading. I make a choice to discipline myself not to write too much as we inundated with a lot of reading material. Feel free to add comments because that way we share and thus encourage one another to grow into the fullness of Christ. Today I am amazed at the fact that God will always remember His covenant and fulfill the promise. I want to list five words in the order they appear in one scripture that showed God is at work in our lives. Remembered : My God will never forget me. To be delayed is not to be denied as God will surely remember. God spoke and said to Sarah that He would return at the appointed time; at the right season!!! I do believe that we are in a season where we will see God begin to act on the promises that seem forgotten. Or better put in another way there is a resurrection of seemingly forgotten prophecies that is about to take place. Dry bones are beginning to take shape. Listened : No longer

Absalom's Treachery

Day 91 Reading: 2 Sam. 14:1 - 2 Sam. 15:37 One of life's most painful lessons is the treachery of human beings. When family or friends hurt you and leave you grieving the pain is not the same as when someone out on the street does something wrong. The pain goes deeper and it's easy to become bitter. Absalom had fled from Israel knowing that he was a wanted man for the murder and revenge on Ammon his step-brother. Joab arranged for a wise woman to go see David and get him to forgive Absalom. The wise woman made David realise that he was not setting a godly example by exiling Absalom. The wise woman made David understand that God will not banish anyone but he will seek the person out. God will do everything in His power to restore the banished person. The wise woman was asking David not to forget the grace of God that enables one to enjoy forgiveness. David gets Absalom brought back to Jerusalem however for 2 years he didn't see him. Now, this was worse than

Dont Go Back to Egypt

Day 207 Reading: Jeremiah 42:1 - Jeremiah 45:5 When life's blows strike us our response matters more than we realise. Many believers today are in a place of bewilderment because life has dealt blows that have knocked the wind out of them. As a result, many are questioning whether God is still God. Reading the Book of Jeremiah I have been encouraged to trust in God at all times.  The remnant children of Israel upon seeing the King of Babylon conquer them asked Jeremiah to seek the mind of God regarding their desire to go to Egypt. The same pattern of thinking that their forefathers had in saying let's go back to Egypt was on display generations after. Many people don't realise the importance of right thinking. God delivered the children of Israel out of Egypt, to desire to go there for safety is a smack to God in the face! When faced with trouble don't allow the thinking of God helps those who help themselves send you to Egypt. It's a death trap! Man
