Day 70 Reading: Josh. 4:1- Josh. 5:31 Women have for so long been unappreciated as prophetic leaders in society. I am grateful that in the Old Testament, which is a shadow of the template of how God desires things, we meet Deborah who was a leader of the people. Her reign as a judge begins while the people are in captivity. God is raising women in this hour to be midwives of nations destinies. Barak missed an opportunity to strike the enemy. Barak means lightning or thunder. An opportunity to strike a blow to the enemy was given however, he missed his opportunity and fame went to a woman. Women didn't go to war yet Barak asked the prophetess to go to war with him. Please before I am accused of preaching inequalities, I am only writing from the view of the Biblical history times.
