Are You Ready To Hear

Day 213 Reading: Ezekiel 5:1 - Ezekiel 9:11 Today as I sat down to write the blog I bowed my head in prayer first to thank God for the testimonies I hear and those I don't know. We all love receiving good news and so for me to hear testimonies of how God is using the blog to minister to people of different age groups and nationalities it humbles me to seek God more than ever. My desire is for this blog to be a battle-axe in the Hand of God against His enemies in the lives of His own. Ezekiel was called to be a prophet who functioned very much in the realm of visions. Reading through today's reading it struck me that Ezekiel's eyes saw beyond what was natural. For this prophet he was not just sent with words he heard but also he saw into the heavenly realm. Ezekiel not only saw heaven but would be transported in the spirit to see what was happening in the natural. Let me explain this. Imagine being sat at home and suddenly God takes you for a walk and you see wh...

Come Now Let Us Reason Together

Day 177 Reading: Isaiah 1:1 - Isaiah 3:26 Oh, I am so excited. Don't tell anyone, this is my favourite book. Strange, I know that someone can say they have a favourite book in the Bible. Whenever I have needed a word of encouragement I have always turned to the Book of Isaiah so as I begin this today I am leaping with excitement inside. Isaiah the prophet prophesied during the reigns of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz and Hezekiah all kings of Judah.  Isaiah opens with an exhortation to wash clean. A clarion call to walk in the ways of God is made clear with the children of God advised of their responsibility to walk in purity. God expects that we cut off from anything that causes us to sin. We receive forgiveness from God but don't expect God to switch off the telly when you are watching porn for example. You have the responsibility to walk away from sin and anything that draws you to sin. God has not stopped calling for mankind just like He asked Adam and Eve where were the...

Consequences of Sin

Day 90 Reading: 2 Sam. 12:1 - 2 Sam. 13:39 We rarely want to talk about sin, even more, the consequences of sin. In this dispensation we are living in many have ignored the consequences of sin. We want to love sinners and not talk about the sin which has them bound. In my walk as a Christian, I have discovered that sinning is easy and more importantly it is easy to silence every voice that will convict you of unrighteous acts.  My intention is not to condemn, rather help you and myself mature to the place God desires. We have played with sin long enough. It is time to walk upright and see the goodness of God. Too many times we have confused mercy and justice. Also, this blog is a breakdown of the passages of each day without the full revelation of the entire Bible. We are building each day to understand the fullness of what God's counsel is. So please don't shut down and say we are not in that era. Understanding the shadow to see what really God availed you. God se...
