God of Vengeance

Day 200 Reading: Jeremiah 15:1 - Jeremiah 17:27 As I woke up I had a restlessness in my spirit. As I drove to work I travailed in prayer for I knew that God desires to do something great in our generation. We live in a day and age where the world has forgotten God. We don't seem to have any sense of God in the world today. However, I have news that if God is God the tables are about to be turned.  God is about to release His vengeance on the world. The world is about to see manifestations of God's power like never before. I don't know about you but I am already for God to come and change the order in the world. For too long God has been relegated to the back and even kicked out of the scene. However, God is raising a new generation of children who will show off His glory and power.  God is about to remember His children who seem forgotten. The world has mocked you asking where now is your God? I tell you to get ready for the day of vengeance is nigh. Prepar...

The Passover

Day 20 Ex. 11:1- Ex. 13:22 God has the final say no matter the opinion and actions of men. When God calls time on a matter there is a reversal of the circumstances. Get ready for God to step in and liberate you. The days of bondage are over and God will bring change. God is the giver of favour. A people who slaves now found themselves wealthy. As God had promised Moses the people would spoil their masters. The people were given favour which allowed them to acquire wealth overnight. Moses went to Pharaoh many times. One time Aaron and Moses were thrown out of Pharaoh's court. Now Moses was seen as great by all. A fugitive once was now the great one commanding a presence of greatness. That is what humility does. It opens the door to greatness. Moses went out of Pharaoh's presence in great anger after telling Pharaoh of what was about to befall him and his people. Nothing is mentioned here why Moses was angry. Was he angry that Pharaoh seemed to be willing to let God k...

God's Judgement

Day 19 Reading: Ex. 8:1- Ex. 10:29 God is a God of the process. Understand that life's dealings are a process of refinement. Moses may have thought that he would easily scare Pharaoh into releasing the children of Israel however that was not the case. This was going to take time. Learn to be patient in the dealings of God. The world needs to know that there is no one like the LORD our God. The magicians may have been able to copy Moses with the plagues, however, each time they need Pharaoh to ask Moses to pray for intervention. This a sign to show that our dependence on a deliverer is to be on God only and no one else. One thing I found interesting is that Pharaoh was asked when he would want prayer for intervention and he said tomorrow. Why would anyone want to stay with frogs all over for another 24 hours? However, how many times do we stay mired in sin when we know we can walk away now!  Moses responds by telling Pharaoh that God would heed his request. God list...

Drawn Out of Water

Day 17 Reading: Exodus 1:1- Exodus 4:31 Life is full of seasons. A new king comes on the scene and has no recollection of Joseph and was concerned that these immigrants had spread all over. The cycles of life, day and night, up and down, mean that we must learn to live in all seasons. Lord help me know the timing of every season in my life. The children of Israel didn't realise that their clock was set for the time to leave Egypt. However, in the midst of the oppression fruitfulness was manifesting in the children of Israel. May I always be fruitful in tough times.  Abraham had been told by God that the children of Israel would reside in Egypt for 400 years Genesis.15:13-14. We aren't told if the children of Israel were reminded of this promise. We don't know of any prophetic voices sent to them however we are told of the sufferings. God may appear silent but He is working it out. Learn to recount to yourself the promises of God while waiting for the manifestat...

God is Working It Out

Day 13 Gen. 40:1- Gen. 42:38 God sees the bigger picture. Many a time I don't see the bigger picture and that makes trusting God in the process so difficult. Joseph found himself now not only a slave but a prisoner. While in prison two inmates are brought and soon they have a dream and Joseph in his humility understood that God is the custodian of knowledge and secrets. No matter the gift bestowed by God understand that God is to be honoured always. Every time when faced with a situation lean on the counsel and interpretation of God.  Joseph hoped that the bigwigs he had ministered to would provide a way out for him. He knew he didn't deserve to be in prison, however, that situation or challenge currently is only for a season. It's to prepare you for the greater good. 'Charles, use moments where you are in a fight to develop a godly character. Don't worry that you seem forgotten by those you have helped. There is a day they will have to remember you....
