Day 36 Reading: Lev. 24:1- Lev. 25:55 In the beginning, God counted a day from evening to evening. Today for many of us the day starts in the morning. However, the clock states that the day begins at midnight. I find it interesting that God required the High priest to sustain the light of the Lampstand in the Holy Place from the evening to the morning.  It's my responsibility to ensure light burns brightly before the morning. Before we see the dawn I have to keep declaring the light of the Word. It's my responsibility to seek the oil for the light that is the fresh revelation for the day dawning. Many today have forgotten the responsibility of seeking for fresh revelation for the day. Charles, maintain the oil for the light of the Word. The children of Israel were dependant on the enquiring of the mind of the Lord regarding life issues. We have a responsibility to seek the mind of the Lord regarding life in general. Day 23 Reading: Ex. 21:1- Ex. 23:33 God loves order. The laws given to Moses reveal God's disposition towards order. The laws may have been on everything from day to day life however they reveal that God has sights on all that pertains our lives. The laws also show us how we are to behave towards God and one another. The laws reveal how much God hates unrighteousness. Freedom from slavery was important to God. None of His children would be slaves forever unless it was willingly. As God created the earth in 6 days and rested on the 7th day,He desired that those in slavery also enjoy this principle of rest. Learn to walk in this principle in all matters. Understand the power of releasing others to their freedom. Understand the importance of rest to God. Even the land was to take a period of rest. This principle of rest has been missed by many and is it any wonder that many are broken.  God expects that we deal with situations that may bring harm. The harmful ox that ...
