Day 41 Reading: Num. 7:1- Num. 8:26 Do you like bible trivia? Do you know the second longest chapter in the bible? Numbers 7 has that distinction. With 89 verses it's the second longest chapter in the entire Bible. For 12 days an offering from the leader of each tribe was presented and called the dedication offering. The leaders gave a dedication offering as the altar was dedicated to God. Not only was the altar dedicated to God but in bringing the offering the tribes were acknowledging that Altar of God as sovereign over their lives. They were saying we shall never sacrifice to another god only on this altar will we sacrifice to God for only He is God. Charles, learn to give a dedication offering where you dedicate yourself to God and also your life as an altar to God. God spoke to Moses and this we see constantly from Exodus.
