Disassociate from Deceivers

Day 55 Reading: Deut. 12:1- Deut. 15:23 God has a great plan for you and I. His desire is that we reign in life. To reign together with God is only possible when we walk wholeheartedly with Him. Destroy altars of the land that are built to others gods. Set up the altar of God in the land. Every altar of an idol pollutes the land. Don't worship using the altars of idols as they are not dedicated to God. Worship God at the place where His altar id erected. Corporate worship was to be done at the place dedicated to God. God required of the children of Israel to never forsake the Levite. The Levites were not given an inheritance and the Lord expected that they would be looked after by the community. Don't forsake those who serve God.  Even in the days of the Covenant of Moses, the people were told of false prophets who would seek to lead the people astray. The false prophet or preacher would be put to death for falsehood. This brought reverence to the office of the...

Hallow the Name of God

Day 45 Reading: Num. 18:1- Num. 20:29 God's Kingdom is full of order. Anything that speaks chaos in our lives on meeting the Word of God is introduced to the order of God's Kingdom. Aaron and his sons were called into the priesthood while the rest of the Levites would serve in the Tabernacle and also serve the priesthood. The Levites were not to handle the things of the sanctuary.  Tithing is not just for the church member. Even the Levite serving in the Tabernacle was to tithe. God expects those serving Him to be tithers. The revelation of the tithe is be sought and understood. The tithe didn't begin in the Law. The tithe was in the dispensation of Abraham where he tithed to Melchizedek.  God expects us to give Him the best, not the remains.  Too many times we give God what is not the best. Sacrificial offerings are to be the best that we can give to God. Abraham gave Isaac. God expects you and I to give nothing but the best.  A red heifer that ...

God is a Planner.

Day 39 Reading: Num. 3:1- Num. 4:49 As I read through the Bible my heart is being convicted afresh of my service to God. I was created to serve God's pleasure. To bring pleasure to Him in my service is to be my utmost desire and lifelong duty. Aaron lost two sons who were childless for having served a strange fire. Be careful that in serving God you don't serve a strange fire bringing a curse to yourself of not only of death but also not having a posterity. As a priest, we are called to serve the needs of the High Priest and the people. These are two services which today is rarely fulfilled by many believers. Don't become the believer who only wants to serve their own needs before God. You and I are called to serve the High Priest and the people.  When the census took place every male was counted from 20 years of age. However, for the Levites, God instructed that from a month old every male was to be counted. The principle of redemption is displayed in the ...

Obedience rules over disobedience

Day 37 Reading: Lev. 26:1- Lev. 27:34 Obedience to the commandments of God would result in great blessings. Rain for the land was tied to obedience to God. God is the same yesterday today and will be tomorrow. He didn't change standards with a change in the dispensation. Obedience to His commandments will yield blessings. Lord, help me to strive to walk in total obedience. Take note of the blessings God will give as a result of obedience to His law: Rain Harvest- a plentiful harvest. Food that will last seasons. No 'brokeness' in between seasons of provision. Eat to satisfaction, not crumbs. Protection and Preservation. Fearless living. Predators would be removed. War will not be known. Enemies will take flight not me being chased by enemies. Listen to many today and the enemy is chasing them not the other way round. Lord change our story! Unbelievable ratios of success, 5 to chase 100, 100 to put 10000 enemies to flight.  Uncommon favour Fruitfuln...
