Day 165 Reading: Psalms 141:1 - Psalms 150:6 The Book of Psalms is filled with promises that release the power of praise. I have every reason to praise God. God is the Creator of the Heavens and the Earth Genesis 1:1 . He is the Author of my life Genesis 2:7 . God is the one who is able to save Psalms 103:1-5 . I praise God because His thoughts about me are uncountable Psalms 139:17 . God is mindful of me Psalms 8:5-8 . God cares so much for me that He set a crown on my head. I know maybe my life doesn't look like it has a crown however like David I will yet praise God because even if Goliath boasts I know who I represent and praise Jehovah. As I praise Him I see His power displayed.  When I praise God His power is displayed because praise enthrones God in our lives Psalms 22:3 . Day 146 Reading: Job 22:1 - Job 26:14 Dear Kenya, Great are the promises that have gone ahead of you. You are a nation with great potential. A nation that many believe has the capacity to become a force in the world. Many African nations look up to you and measure their standards of development by how far you have gone. However, you have been found wanting. Greed, idolatry and immorality have consumed your soul to the detriment of your well-being. You have forgotten the principles on which you are founded. You called on me the Creator at the beginning of time, however, you have now decided to live without Me.  This letter is to not only a warning of the impending judgement coming towards the wicked but also a cry to return to God. The only solution to the troubles that plague this land is a wholesome returning to the Lord God. The wicked need to understand that their days are shortlived. Day 19 Reading: Ex. 8:1- Ex. 10:29 God is a God of the process. Understand that life's dealings are a process of refinement. Moses may have thought that he would easily scare Pharaoh into releasing the children of Israel however that was not the case. This was going to take time. Learn to be patient in the dealings of God. The world needs to know that there is no one like the LORD our God. The magicians may have been able to copy Moses with the plagues, however, each time they need Pharaoh to ask Moses to pray for intervention. This a sign to show that our dependence on a deliverer is to be on God only and no one else. One thing I found interesting is that Pharaoh was asked when he would want prayer for intervention and he said tomorrow. Why would anyone want to stay with frogs all over for another 24 hours? However, how many times do we stay mired in sin when we know we can walk away now!  Moses responds by telling Pharaoh that God would heed his request. God list...
