Day 133 Reading: Ezra 5:1 - Ezra 7:28 Breaking News! God is in the process of rebuilding His House. Ladies and Gentlemen, please note that God did not seek your permission. A command has gone out that His House is restored to the place of glory that all mankind may come and worship Him. God desires to show off and the rebuilding of His House is central to the next chapter of mankind.  Those who knew the former glory will build alongside those who never saw the glory of the House of the Lord. Those who knew of His glory will rebuild the House of God with weeping for the past glory while those who never knew of the glory will shout with joy. The sound in the House of God will be a mixture of joyful shouts and groanings of travail for restoration. This will usher the next move of God's Kingdom. Many wonder how this will be. Day 126 Reading: 2 Chronicles 20:1 - 2 Chronicles 22:12 While meditating on the above portion of scriptures hope was rising within as I realised that God is indeed more than able to fight for me. I don't know what is ailing you or contending with your well being. What I know is that God is able to resolve the crisis for good. King Jehoshaphat was advised that a great army was coming to fight him. Fear gripped him and he ran to God. He summoned the entire nation to seek the face of God. While he made prayer for salvation from the enemy the entire nation including children were together fasting in prayer. He understood that in trouble one should run to God. The king didn't run to other nations to fight for him. Nope, He ran to God. Run to God always. In the midst of an entire nation seeking God, a prophet arose who declared the counsel of God. Day 113 Reading: 2 Kings 24:1 - 2 Kings 25:30 Today we see many places of worship in the westernised world closing down for many reasons. This is not a new phenomenon. When the people of God have departed from worshipping God, the House of God has been destroyed. As I wrote this blog all I could hear was a clarion cry to return to God wholeheartedly. The day of God's wrath is drawing near and yet many are asleep to this fact. Arise and tell the world to get ready for a shaking is coming.  After King Josiah died, the kings we are introduced to never sought God. They walked in the ways of the those who departed from God's commandments. And as God had declared in the days of Manasseh, the Jerusalem and Judah were taken captive. We are introduced to King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon who laid siege over Jerusalem and took all the bronze, gold and silver from the House of God. Day 103 Reading: 1 Kings 19:1 - 1 Kings 20:43 God desires that we see His power displayed. God detests that the world does not know His power. God is raising a generation that will manifest His power like never before. Reading through the daily reading the Holy Spirit began dealing with my heart regarding the manifestations of the power of God on earth today.  Elijah walked not just in authority but in the power of God. Elijah spoke and it didn't rain for years. Ravens brought food to him. He was directed to the woman of Zarephath who only had a morsel of food remaining and at his word coupled with her obedience they never lacked supply. When he prayed God heard him. God answered his prayer to raise the boy from the dead and in the showdown with the priests of baal God again manifested His power.
