A Future and Hope

Day 203 Reading: Jeremiah 27:1 - Jeremiah 29:32 Many times we go through periods in life where we question our existence. We wonder why me? We ask questions that pertain to our circumstances and steps that may have led to the pit we find ourselves. Hey, as you read this and maybe you have never faced a dark moment in life, keep living you will soon experience it and this blog will make sense. In such times where we cannot understand why, where, how, when, or whatever let me encourage you that God still has a plan for you. In Jeremiah, we have so far seen him prophesy about the captivity of the nation of Judah. He faced a lot of critics and was even almost killed by the mob because his prophecies were not palatable. Sometimes as a believer, we need to understand that God will not speak what we desire but what we need. When faced with trouble many times as believers we don't want to listen to anything to do with correction. We don't want God to point out where we hav...

If My People

Day 122 Reading: 1 Chronicles 5:1 - 1 Chronicles 7:22 There are many constant themes in the Bible. One such theme is prayer. Prayer is not one-way traffic to God. It's a conversation with God. It's two-way traffic where speaking and listening are involved. Prayer is a prerequisite to seeing God move in your situation. Prayer is made to God who keeps covenant and is merciful to His servants who walk before God with all their heart.  Solomon on completion of the temple brings the Ark and all the artefacts and treasuries in the temple. The Ark was brought in the midst of singing, rejoicing and trumpets being blown. The glory of God filled the place. Solomon then blessed the people and proceeded to pray. His prayer was offered from the brazen altar where sacrifices were made. Solomon's prayer of dedication is a cry to God to answer any prayer or plea made from the House of God. As soon as he finished praying, fire came down from heaven and consumed the sacrifice, a...

March into Blessings

Day 60 Reading: Deut. 30:1- Deut 31:30 Welcome to a new month, March. My prayer is that this month great strides will be your testimony. March forward as God enlarges you. This month I sense shifts will take place for those who have been waiting for answers. God has been working in the background preparing the table for you to eat before your enemies. This month get ready to enter the land of promise. Position yourself God loves you and I. God consistently promises that where His children seek Him wholeheartedly He will restore us to the place of glory when we seek Him wholly. This is the time to return to God wholly. The volatility, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity of challenges in the world today demand that we believers rise to a new level of walking with God. Only by following God will I be a distinction in the world. It doesn't matter how far you have fallen, return to God and watch God gather you back to the land He promised you. God desires to circumcise ou...
