March into Blessings

Day 60

Reading: Deut. 30:1- Deut 31:30

Welcome to a new month, March. My prayer is that this month great strides will be your testimony. March forward as God enlarges you. This month I sense shifts will take place for those who have been waiting for answers. God has been working in the background preparing the table for you to eat before your enemies. This month get ready to enter the land of promise. Position yourself

God loves you and I. God consistently promises that where His children seek Him wholeheartedly He will restore us to the place of glory when we seek Him wholly. This is the time to return to God wholly. The volatility, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity of challenges in the world today demand that we believers rise to a new level of walking with God. Only by following God will I be a distinction in the world. It doesn't matter how far you have fallen, return to God and watch God gather you back to the land He promised you. God desires to circumcise our hearts that we believers may love and serve Him alone.

As you and I return to God, there will be a turnaround, an overturning. God places the curses on the enemies. So when you and I move away from God, our lives don't take the form of one that is blessed and our enemies become blessed. However, once we realign to God wholly, He overturns the circumstances in your favour. Get ready to see God change your position. Soon everyone will speak of how blessed you are. If you and I will walk with God, obeying His commandments we shall be the envy of the world.

The choice to love and serve God wholly is not to be taken lightly. It's not a question of going to heaven to get the answer. No, the answer is already available to you and I. The Word of God is near us and all God desires is we obey the revealed Word of God. Let the Word be in our mind, mouth, and heart that you and I may do it.

You and I have a choice to make. It's whether to obey God or not. It's a choice of life or death; blessings or curses. I make the choice to obey God and His Word for He is my life and my days will be lengthened as I seek Him.

"Charles, keep focusing on God.Keep reading the Word to ensure your focus is maintained. Seek to obey the Word in all instances of life. Let the Word of God be the final arbiter of every situation. As God brings you to the place of manifestation, the place where you dwell in the land, do not forget God who has brought you to the place of harvest."

Memory Verse: Deut. 31:8

Decree:

'Charles, the Lord your God will bring you to the land which your fathers possessed, and you shall possess it. He will prosper you and multiply you more than your fathers.' Deut. 30:5(italics mine)

A better tomorrow

Everyone is hopeful for a better tomorrow. That's why we say "Good morning" at the start of the day. It's an indicator of the hope within that welcomes the dawning of a new day to bring better fortunes our way. God's mercies are new every morning and His compassion does not fail. When faced with adversity it becomes harder to see a better tomorrow, but resilient people are focused on the fact that trouble is only a comma in the sentence of life. At a time where fear has gripped many hearts because of various reasons, it is difficult to remain hopeful. Without hope, you cannot have the faith necessary to live. Faith is the substance of what is hoped for. Faith gives hope tangibility. To be without hope is to open the door of low living. Hopelessness is the start of damnation in life. You and I were born for a reason. We are not just statistics, making up numbers in any particular nation. You and I were born to reign in life. That situation that has so far made...

Lessons From A Parable

Day 259 Reading: Luke 14:1 - Luke 16:31 The thoughts that God has for you are too many to be counted. Jesus while speaking asked the disciples if they knew the number of hairs that fall off their head? Jesus told them that God is so interested in the minute details about us that He knows when one hair falls down. God is so detailed about our lives because He is good. When you embrace the goodness of God by understanding that God's love towards us is immeasurable. Whilst reading today's passages my heart was refreshed as I read a very famous parable featuring the prodigal son.   Jesus tells us of two sons and a father. The younger son asked for his inheritance and left home leaving the elder son and his father.  The younger went to a faraway land and wasted his life. He soon was dead broke, deserted by his new found friends and looking for a job. He soon was working for a farmer feeding his pigs. His job must have been so mundane with low pay as he ate the food the...

Absalom's Treachery

Day 91 Reading: 2 Sam. 14:1 - 2 Sam. 15:37 One of life's most painful lessons is the treachery of human beings. When family or friends hurt you and leave you grieving the pain is not the same as when someone out on the street does something wrong. The pain goes deeper and it's easy to become bitter. Absalom had fled from Israel knowing that he was a wanted man for the murder and revenge on Ammon his step-brother. Joab arranged for a wise woman to go see David and get him to forgive Absalom. The wise woman made David realise that he was not setting a godly example by exiling Absalom. The wise woman made David understand that God will not banish anyone but he will seek the person out. God will do everything in His power to restore the banished person. The wise woman was asking David not to forget the grace of God that enables one to enjoy forgiveness. David gets Absalom brought back to Jerusalem however for 2 years he didn't see him. Now, this was worse than ...
