Get Set For Lift Off

Day 181 Reading: Isaiah 14:1 - Isaiah 16:14 God's word cannot fail. His Word is settled forever and is proven. Proven in that those who have taken a hold of the Word of God it has been a light and path. The Book of Isaiah is filled with prophetic declarations of God's word coming to pass.  God's word comes to pass because of His mercy. His mercies over you and I are a great reason why God cannot forget His covenant of love with us. God is good and is a loving God. His love means that even when we have done wrong and we are deserving of condemnation, we find that He is merciful and we are not consumed by our tormentors or oppressors. Instead, our captors will serve us all because of God's mercy. Whatever or whoever has tormented you, may God's mercy overturn the tables in your favour! God has taken an oath and indeed He can swear by no one else but Himself. That which He has thought it will come to pass. God has thought of your victory, your restorat...

God's Mercy

Day 137 Reading: Nehemiah 8:1 - Nehemiah 10:39 I am not alive because I deserve it and neither are you. We are alive and where we are in life because God is merciful. Many don't understand God's mercy. Many go through life thinking they deserve or are owed by God the best in life. That is a proud attitude. You see God is Holy. We are sinners. We are unclean yet we are loved by God who is pure and all powerful.  Nehemiah and Ezra summoned the people to listen to the Book of the Law. Ezra read the Book of the Law and was surrounded by people who helped the people understand the commandments and statutes. The whole purpose of reading the Law was to not only remind people of the Covenant God had made with them but to also get them to see the mercy of God. The reading of the law brought conviction to the hearts of the people. This conviction resulted in people weeping, however, Nehemiah and Ezra resolved that it was not to be a day of mourning but a day of joy.  Jo...

Obedience rules over disobedience

Day 37 Reading: Lev. 26:1- Lev. 27:34 Obedience to the commandments of God would result in great blessings. Rain for the land was tied to obedience to God. God is the same yesterday today and will be tomorrow. He didn't change standards with a change in the dispensation. Obedience to His commandments will yield blessings. Lord, help me to strive to walk in total obedience. Take note of the blessings God will give as a result of obedience to His law: Rain Harvest- a plentiful harvest. Food that will last seasons. No 'brokeness' in between seasons of provision. Eat to satisfaction, not crumbs. Protection and Preservation. Fearless living. Predators would be removed. War will not be known. Enemies will take flight not me being chased by enemies. Listen to many today and the enemy is chasing them not the other way round. Lord change our story! Unbelievable ratios of success, 5 to chase 100, 100 to put 10000 enemies to flight.  Uncommon favour Fruitfuln...

God Show Me Your Glory!

Day 26 Reading: 31:1- Ex. 34:35 Not only preachers are anointed by God. Please remove the disposition that only those in full-time ministry are anointed. God tells Moses of a gentleman who had the skill necessary to build the tabernacle according to the pattern Moses had seen. God tells Moses that He has called Bezalel. From today don't despise your office. There is an anointing to be applied to the office. See the office as the full-time ministry and the grace to excel and build according to the pattern of God and it will flow. God is more than willing to fill me with the Spirit in wisdom, knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship. Every artisan would be involved in the project and God had given them the wisdom to fulfil the mandate. God will always guide on how to accomplish the task. Learn to wait on God and ask Him for instructions on who is to help with accomplishing the mission. Rest is important to God. He introduced rest as He understood its vitality to human...

And God Remembered!

Day 3: Gen.8:1-11:32 God doesn't forget anyone. No matter the storm in life as long as I am in the ark of God's salvation God will not forget me. I love the statement that God remembered Noah. As I go through the year I will continually remind myself that God remembers me and will make a wave to blow the waters of the storms of life away making a way for me to walk on dry land. The raven and dove comparison makes me realise the value God places on me. My body is not the landing strip of anything that can land anywhere. Be a person who carries such great value to attract and keep value. The dove brought back an olive branch. We don't know what the raven carried. Value ensures you carry that which is worthwhile. Noah moved only on instruction from heaven. He didn't step out of the ark because he saw the dry ground. He moved when Heaven instructed him. Make every step when Heaven orders to see Heaven's blessing. Noah offered a sacrificial offering on leavi...
