Dedicated to God; Enveloped with Glory

Day 99 Reading: 1 Kings 8:1 - 1 Kings 9:28 God is a covenant-keeping God. God fulfils His Promises. None of His promises can fail. It doesn't matter what you have experienced in life God cannot fail. He has never failed and will never. Write it in your consciousness that God cannot fail. It doesn't matter how long it takes, God cannot fail. Abraham and Sarah waited 25 years and God came through. Hannah saw God come through. Noah preached for 120 years that it was going to flood to a people who had never seen rain, and God didn't fail. Solomon reminded the people that indeed God had not failed them.  Once the House of God was completed the Ark of the Covenant and all the utensils in the Tabernacle were to be moved in. The priests did this and as soon as they walked out of the Holy of Holies the cloud of the glory of God descended and covered the entire place that no one could minister. Any temple of God without His manifest presence will lead to religion. Where ...

Inquire & Worship God.

Day 94 Reading: 2 Sam. 21:1 - 2 Sam. 22:51 One of my joys, as I'm reading through the Bible, is the way am learning new things. I have read the Bible many times, however, this year the Word of God has become more real to me. God in His Word has become real to me in ways I cannot explain. His Word is alive in me. I pray that this blog is causing you to hunger for the Word of God.  Over and over in the Bible, we are introduced to different characters. I love looking to see what made God choose a person. Why would He use Abraham? Many say they are children of Abraham, however, they don't know why God chose him. God chose Abraham because he would teach his children the commandments of God. It wasn't because of an offering. Abraham could be trusted by God to teach his children the ways of God, to do righteousness and justice Genesis. 18:19 . What made God use David? We have seen how David was forgiving and also how he was quick to repent. He feared God.  One m...

The Lord Fights For You

Day 64 Reading: Josh. 8:1 - 10:43 Now is the time to arise and go into battle. After spending time removing every roadblock that may hinder the power of God from flowing its time to arise. We have spent enough time crying for our sins. The time to arise in the knowledge of God's mercy and forgiveness is now. You and I are forgiven and God is ready to contend for us. When God gives instructions for the battle victory is in sight. The fact that the children of Israel had lost to Ai before meant that they were going to fight wiser. This resulted in a strategy to draw the enemy to the fight and lead to an easier destruction of the city. Ai must have known that they would be back which is another reason that Joshua would have required a strategy to take the city. Lord give the church strategies to take cities! The soldiers of Ai seeing Joshua and the men fleeing must have thought that it was over. Not knowing that they were being led to the slaughter. Learn to be discrete...
