God Loves Me

Day 215 Reading: Ezekiel 14:1 - Ezekiel 16:63 My Child, I created you to fellowship with Me. In the beginning, when I made Adam and Eve I made mankind in my image and likeness. I, the Creator and Ruler of the Heavens and Earth desired to have an intimate friendship with mankind. This relationship is based on love. My child, know that I love you. My love for you cannot be stopped or crushed Jeremiah 31:3-4 . My covenant is one of love and My greatest desire is a heart that loves genuinely.  Many today have idols in their hearts. Idols that are blocking My love from reaching them. These idols are from selfish desires to the things of this world. Many today claim to love Me, however, they worship themselves more than anyone else. Listening to their conversations you can hardly hear them express My love for others. It's all about themselves and never about others which makes Me wonder who do they love. My love for you should, in turn, provoke you to love others that th...

Prevail in Prayer

Day 109 Reading: 2 Kings 12:1 - 2 Kings 14:29 God answers prayer and yes I know sometimes it looks like our praying is only hitting the ceiling. It can be frustrating to our walk with God when all things are not working out as expected after prayer. There are various facets to prayer. Prayer is a vast topic and one I am continually learning. Prayer is communication with God. Its a two-way conversation with God regarding circumstances in life. Jehoash on becoming King of Judah is recorded as having walked in the ways of God. He did what was right in the sight of God even though he never removed the high places that people were using to worship. He was keen to see the House of God restored and wondered why the priests were not heeding the instructions to get the work going. Lord, give us leaders who will yearn for Your House to be restored to its glory.  Jehoahaz became the King of Israel in the 23rd year of King Jehoash's reign. This was the year that King Jehoash b...

Choices

Day 53 Reading: Deut. 5:1- Deut. 7:26 The Lord spoke face to face is an awesome statement that reveals how much God loves us. The Covenant of the Law was different from the Abrahamic covenant in how it was presented. Moses declares that God didn't make this covenant with the fathers. He appeared to the children of Israel and spoke to them. God declared the Ten Commandments on which the entire law hinged or revolved. God wrote these Ten Commandments on two tablets of stones. The Ten Commandments: I am the Lord your God who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. You shall have no other gods before Me. You shall not make for yourself a carved image—any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; you shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth gene...

Walk before God not Humanity

Day 5 Gen. 17:1- Gen. 19:38 'Charles, I am Elshaddai, walk before Me and be blameless. And you will partake of My covenant and I will multiply you. Today, I am changing your name to  fruitful in all things. No longer will you be called failure, useless, good for nothing, missed the plot person, nearly made it person! You will be known as and called fruitful in every area of life.' God's covenant working in me changes all things from negative to glorious.  God is a merciful God. We have no record of divine encounters between God and Abraham for 13 years. God then shows up and sets the standard for Abram. He also changes his name to Abraham. May every encounter with God result in transformational change. In the midst of an encounter be careful what you say. Notice that as God promised a son, Abraham didn't see how it would happen. All he was seeing was in the natural how it was impossible for Sarah and him to have a child.  Abraham laughed in the presence...

A Personal Walk With God

Day 4 Gen. 12:1-16:15 One of the tragedies of believers today is their reliance on others to hear God. As I read this portion of scripture my heart was filled with the conviction that we have forgotten to train believers to walk with God. This made me reread the entire portion with a different perspective as we are introduced to the covenant of God with Abram which I am a partaker of.  God instructs Abram to leave for a land that He would give to him. God is calling me to leave the land that I have dwelt in and move to the land He is giving me. 'Charles, as a child of Abram, the promise to be made great is yours.' God will make me great to be a blessing to the nations . Live, walk, think that God is making this a reality. Do whatever is required to make it a reality.Become what God has called you to be by transforming into the person who walks with the standards of God.  When God's hand comes on a person even the enemy can smell that they are untouchable. D...

A New Day

Welcome to a new year. I am a firm believer that the days can only get better. Your tomorrow will be better than yesterday. The Word of God is clear that the path of the just shines brighter and brighter( Prov 4:18 ) not gloomier and doomier as we age or as predicted by economists. You and I were born for a reason and that purpose will not be buried in the mire that life can be. You have a responsibility to God and mankind to be the best that you were created to be.You were not born a failure and not named a failure. When you were born there was joy irrespective of the circumstances surrounding your birth. That joy cannot be deflated because of the journey that life at times takes us through. Usually at the beginning of the year most people are setting goals or targets for the next 365 days. A goal on paper is worthless until you decide the how to accomplish that goal. To just say I will increase financially is worthless if I don't set my finances in order and start by gathering ...
