Day 179 Reading: Isaiah 7:1 - Isaiah 9:21 Prophesy is very much alive. Don't think that God cannot speak. God is not dead. God is very much interested in our lives and desires to speak to us. My prayer is that my eyes and ears be open to see and hear what God has to say or do. God is a speaking God and the challenge today is are we willing to hear what He has to say. Isaiah prophesied in different dimensions.  He was sent to declare a prophetic word to individuals. God is interested in the individual. He was sent to do prophetic actions. His wife a prophetess conceived and gave birth to a child whose name was a prophecy to children of Israel.  He prophesied to nations. God sent him to Israel, and the nations surrounding them. He also prophesied of the Messiah.  As I studied the Scriptures I am amazed at how God is a God of order. Right from Genesis we see God promise and reveal a plan for a Messiah who would save mankind. Day 83 Reading: 1 Sam. 18:1- 1 Sam. 20:42 Victory over Goliath will bring open doors to places where you only visited. However, challenges also follow after a victory. The enemy doesn't sit back and relax, he gets busy. Saul only called David when he was needed before the fight with Goliath. After he killed Goliath David sat on the same table with Saul and ate from his table. The days of visiting the place God has set for you are coming to an end for victory over Goliath will introduce a new dimension of glory. David behaved wisely. He must have known that Saul was laying traps to snare him and only wise actions would save him. You don't see David running to his network to look for help. He behaved wisely. Wise behaviour sometimes is silence but letting God do his work.When a characteristic is mentioned twice we should not take it for granted. Day 42 Reading: Num. 9:1- Num. 11:35 Learn to walk in divine authority. Moses spoke to men who were troubled that they wouldn't be able to take part in the Passover. The men seemed agitated. Moses gave an instruction 'Stand Still', i.e. stop all you are doing and wait for an answer from God. Develop an intimacy with God that when you speak it is authoritatively the mind and heart of God regarding any matter. The response of God to Moses and by extension the children of Israel shows that God never wants us to miss on having the blessings He has ordained. Whatever the reason that may have hindered your not receiving at the appointed time would not mean that you cannot partake of the feast of the Lord the following month.  Twice we read that the entire camp only moved when the Pillar of Cloud of glory that rested above the Tabernacle moved.
