Day 296 Reading: 1 Peter 1:1 - 1 Peter 5:14 Challenges are the way of life. We celebrate winners because they overcome hurdles. Think about it, how many times do we celebrate those who innovate or break into new frontiers. The Wright brothers did what no other person had done. They flew a plane. They conquered the law of gravity with the law of flight. Was it a one day exercise? No, it took years. The worked on a plane from 1899 to 1903 when a power plane flew and continued to perfect it and the first practical aeroplane flew in 1905. Thomas Edison is celebrated for inventing the light bulb which he displayed after many failed experiments to get it to work.  Peter in writing to the churches encourages the believers to understand the place of process. He helps the believer understand the period between the trial and deliverance or a miracle is necessary. It's necessary for you and me to learn about trusting God fully. Day 292 Reading: Titus 1:1 - Titus 3:15 One of the words we find used by the Apostle Paul is grace. Grace is unmerited favour. Paul told the Corinthian church that he was made by grace. Regularly we see Paul saying that grace gave him the strength to press on. He consistently began his letters by praying for grace, peace and mercy upon the listener and reader. Is the grace of God for special people? As I read the Book of Titus, I was amazed by one statement: that grace has appeared to all mankind. Many think that grace is not available for all. Many even question if God's grace is available? Others say that grace is only available when you religiously follow God. Paul when writing he said that when the love and kindness of God appeared because of His mercy God saved and justified us by His grace. Day 283 Reading: 2 Corinthians 10:1 - 2 Corinthians 13:14 We all go through situations, circumstances, or challenges in life that can alter our lives drastically. I will be very personal in this blog not because I want to solicit empathy but to encourage someone.  Such moments end up being very disheartening to the soul but they can be very rewarding if pivoted in the right direction. For the last three days as I have read this letter to the Corinthians, my mind has kept thinking about the sufficiency of God's grace. Paul declared that is was of the outworking of grace that we are saved. Salvation is not because of our works but because of God's unmerited favour that we have what we didn't deserve. Jesus took our punishment, stood in our place and received what we deserved as sinners and we, in turn, received the forgiveness that we didn't ask for. Day 278 Reading: 1 Corinthians 1:1 - 1 Corinthians 5:13 Paul kept in touch with his flocks. He felt it was his responsibility to know the affairs of the brethren. When writing to the Corinthians we find that he not only is answering their questions but also dealing with issues they  had. Paul must have been made aware of the issues the believers were dealing with. He even got to know of situations where they erred by entertaining sin. As I meditated on what to write I felt I needed to highlight three things.  Firstly, as a believer understand that God has given you grace that enriches you in everything by Him in all utterance and knowledge 1 Corinthians 1:5 . This statement struck me as I read it because it became a spotlight showing me that I had not really understood all that God has given me. God has enriched me with all I require for life. Life may say something else however God desires I reinforce it in me that God has enriched me in all things. I am not wait...

Day 26 Reading: 31:1- Ex. 34:35 Not only preachers are anointed by God. Please remove the disposition that only those in full-time ministry are anointed. God tells Moses of a gentleman who had the skill necessary to build the tabernacle according to the pattern Moses had seen. God tells Moses that He has called Bezalel. From today don't despise your office. There is an anointing to be applied to the office. See the office as the full-time ministry and the grace to excel and build according to the pattern of God and it will flow. God is more than willing to fill me with the Spirit in wisdom, knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship. Every artisan would be involved in the project and God had given them the wisdom to fulfil the mandate. God will always guide on how to accomplish the task.
