Come Now Let Us Reason Together

Day 177 Reading: Isaiah 1:1 - Isaiah 3:26 Oh, I am so excited. Don't tell anyone, this is my favourite book. Strange, I know that someone can say they have a favourite book in the Bible. Whenever I have needed a word of encouragement I have always turned to the Book of Isaiah so as I begin this today I am leaping with excitement inside. Isaiah the prophet prophesied during the reigns of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz and Hezekiah all kings of Judah.  Isaiah opens with an exhortation to wash clean. A clarion call to walk in the ways of God is made clear with the children of God advised of their responsibility to walk in purity. God expects that we cut off from anything that causes us to sin. We receive forgiveness from God but don't expect God to switch off the telly when you are watching porn for example. You have the responsibility to walk away from sin and anything that draws you to sin. God has not stopped calling for mankind just like He asked Adam and Eve where were the...

Divine Guidance

Day 28 Reading: Ex. 38:1- Ex. 40:38 Stewardship is another principle of God that runs through the bible. God expects us to be good stewards of His resources. An accounting system of all that was given was set up to give a proper account of all the resources that were given for the work. Transparency in the resources given to the work of God will lead to people trusting the work as wholesome not a corrupt idea.  Let your day begin with a meeting with God. God instructs Moses to set up the Tabernacle on the first day of the first month in the second year after leaving Egypt. The month of liberty would be the month they would set up the Tabernacle. My liberty is connected to my worship of God. The Tabernacle was to be dedicated to God most importantly.  The set up of the Tabernacle would enable the perosn on entering to sacrifice with a burnt offering which is a place of confession. They would then move to the lavar for cleansing. The priest would then move to th...

God Show Me Your Glory!

Day 26 Reading: 31:1- Ex. 34:35 Not only preachers are anointed by God. Please remove the disposition that only those in full-time ministry are anointed. God tells Moses of a gentleman who had the skill necessary to build the tabernacle according to the pattern Moses had seen. God tells Moses that He has called Bezalel. From today don't despise your office. There is an anointing to be applied to the office. See the office as the full-time ministry and the grace to excel and build according to the pattern of God and it will flow. God is more than willing to fill me with the Spirit in wisdom, knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship. Every artisan would be involved in the project and God had given them the wisdom to fulfil the mandate. God will always guide on how to accomplish the task. Learn to wait on God and ask Him for instructions on who is to help with accomplishing the mission. Rest is important to God. He introduced rest as He understood its vitality to human...
