Divine Encounters

This weekend gone was interesting and wonderful in many ways. I want to share one experience that had me thinking and praying. Today's blog will be slightly different as I just want to speak to circumstances. I just have an urge to prophesy to the situations surrounding not just me but many of my friends. On Sunday I could not enter my office. A door I locked as I went home on Friday suddenly could not open. I tried every key and had a member of the venue management try to open the door. As I pushed and tried everything I could without breaking the door I began to think about the many times in life when suddenly what you did before does not get you the same results as before. As we kept working to try and open the door without any damages, a matter of necessity in these days of austerity, I realised that this was a sign to me. Every night when I lay my head and sleep I look forward to a better tomorrow. I am always hopeful that my tomorrow will be better than my yesterday. I am always seeking for answers to having a better tomorrow. When you deal with people as I do on a daily basis you discover that what most people want is the key to a better tomorrow. We are constantly seeking for answers to how to improve life. No one likes problems or challenges and as a result we are seeking for ways to make our experiences of life better, easier, calmer, and more enjoyable. As I have meditated and thought upon life in general I have come to discover that there is one key to a better tomorrow; diligence is the key to a better tomorrow. Diligence is the constant and persistent effort required to accomplish what is to be undertaken. Many years ago I worked in a department store and one of my favourite sections was the perfumes section. I made friends there and was rewarded handsomely for friendship. One thing I noted was that that section of the building had a residue of the wonderful smells of perfumery. If you just walked through that area you left with a tinge of the atmosphere you walked through that gave you a feel good factor. As I meditated about life I remembered that life has a way of leaving a tinge that can affect us. A good fragrance will attract with the same force that a foul odour repels. Welcome to a new month. I am sure that within each and everyone reading this blog lies a desire to live a life that is fulfilling. One of the things that I have discovered about life is that trouble is not a respector of persona. Trouble visits everyone at any time. Trouble does not respect age, wealth, status, location, education, technological advancement or life. Trouble has a way of rearing it's ugly head in life that unsettles a person.  Many times we ask why me when in trouble, because trouble has a way of making one think selfishly that you are the only one in trouble.  You and I are driving on a journey in a vehicle called " Life ", each one of us on this road called "Living " are on different lanes.
