Get Ready to Breakthrough

Constantly we are faced with decisions to make. As we travel on this journey called life, we discover the road is one filled with twists and turnings and not just valleys and mountains. I don't know where you are but I have news for you...Get ready for your breakthrough is round the corner!!!

Four lepers were sat outside a city that facing a dire famine 2 Kings 7:3-10. Many of us been defined by life's circumstances and are sat outside the place of rest, the place of activity, the place of recognition, the place of affiliation, the place of our maximisation. Yet the Bible tells us that these 4 letters were the bearers of good news to the city that ejected them. Your day of good news is here.

The lepers did two main things to see the miracle birthed in their lives:
  • Resolved to take action about their situation. Don't just seat there hoping and praying. Do something that will activate your miracle. Faith is an action not a seating down and mourning about the situation. 
  • Gave thought to their actions. Be a thinker about your steps in life. 
As you move from the place life has thrown you, get ready to see God scatter your enemies. Arise boldly and walk towards your miracle. Prepare yourself to testify of His goodness like never before.

Absalom's Treachery

Day 91 Reading: 2 Sam. 14:1 - 2 Sam. 15:37 One of life's most painful lessons is the treachery of human beings. When family or friends hurt you and leave you grieving the pain is not the same as when someone out on the street does something wrong. The pain goes deeper and it's easy to become bitter. Absalom had fled from Israel knowing that he was a wanted man for the murder and revenge on Ammon his step-brother. Joab arranged for a wise woman to go see David and get him to forgive Absalom. The wise woman made David realise that he was not setting a godly example by exiling Absalom. The wise woman made David understand that God will not banish anyone but he will seek the person out. Lessons From A Parable

Day 259 Reading: Luke 14:1 - Luke 16:31 The thoughts that God has for you are too many to be counted. Jesus while speaking asked the disciples if they knew the number of hairs that fall off their head? Jesus told them that God is so interested in the minute details about us that He knows when one hair falls down. God is so detailed about our lives because He is good. When you embrace the goodness of God by understanding that God's love towards us is immeasurable.
