NOW!!!!.....

As I was preparing yesterday morning my spirit within was bubbling with a word. This word created a buzz within me, an excitement of the glorious expectations within me being fulfilled. This year will be great and I am convinced not only of its greatness but I will see God's goodness in all that pertains to my life Psalms 27:13b. The word that's been an inspiration to me, even as I write is NOW!!!Faith is found only in the NOW Hebrews 11:1. As I declared that I am in the NOW season of God's blessing in my life an acronym dropped into my spirit.

N: Nevertheless- Irrespective of the past and present circumstances I am convinced that the NOW moment we are in is also a nevertheless moment. In spite of the present circumstances, God's promises will manifest into reality for those who believe Him wholly.

O: Obedience- This is what turns the key to opening the door of God's blessings. Faith without obedience leads nowhere. It's explicit and implicit obedience to God that activates the reality of the blessings of a NOW season in life. Reading through Deuteronomy chapter 28 will paint a vivid picture of how much premium God  places on obedience.

W: Willingness- For the manifestation of the NOW season one must be willing to go forward in the direction that God is revealing. Faith for something requires a willingness to see the situation superimposed with God's plan and agenda. For this NOW season to become real one must be willing to be what God has intended.

It is my prayer that I have introduced you to your NOW season. May God's mighty blessings rain over your life as you possess God's plans and agenda NOW!!!

Now is....

Everyday I seek to share something that I have learnt through the daily reading. I make a choice to discipline myself not to write too much as we inundated with a lot of reading material. Feel free to add comments because that way we share and thus encourage one another to grow into the fullness of Christ. Today I am amazed at the fact that God will always remember His covenant and fulfill the promise. I want to list five words in the order they appear in one scripture that showed God is at work in our lives. Remembered : My God will never forget me. To be delayed is not to be denied as God will surely remember. God spoke and said to Sarah that He would return at the appointed time; at the right season!!! I do believe that we are in a season where we will see God begin to act on the promises that seem forgotten. Or better put in another way there is a resurrection of seemingly forgotten prophecies that is about to take place. Dry bones are beginning to take shape. Listened : No longer ...

Blessing or ....

To live well is one thing we all desire. I have never met anyone who did not want to live well. By living well for some people it means helping others. For others it means having a successful business. Yet for others it means travelling the world. I have discovered that it is not money that empowers but the blessing of God that empowers. Money is simply one of the many ways that the effects of the blessing may show up. Many times today in society we confuse money with being blessed yet people like Mother Teresa did not flaunt money but her life still is blessing many people round the world. The book of Deuteronomy has challenged me to desire to be blessed. Anyone who has walked with the blessing of God in their live has seen doors open that are a struggle for others. Yesterday I wrote about obedience. What obedience opens our lives to is the operation of the blessing. By choosing to obey the Word we are choosing to open our lives to be blessed. The purpose of being blessed is not self ...

Absalom's Treachery

Day 91 Reading: 2 Sam. 14:1 - 2 Sam. 15:37 One of life's most painful lessons is the treachery of human beings. When family or friends hurt you and leave you grieving the pain is not the same as when someone out on the street does something wrong. The pain goes deeper and it's easy to become bitter. Absalom had fled from Israel knowing that he was a wanted man for the murder and revenge on Ammon his step-brother. Joab arranged for a wise woman to go see David and get him to forgive Absalom. The wise woman made David realise that he was not setting a godly example by exiling Absalom. The wise woman made David understand that God will not banish anyone but he will seek the person out. God will do everything in His power to restore the banished person. The wise woman was asking David not to forget the grace of God that enables one to enjoy forgiveness. David gets Absalom brought back to Jerusalem however for 2 years he didn't see him. Now, this was worse than ...
