Going Forward

Dear Friend,

Hope and pray that you are well and more importantly living life on purpose. I know I haven't blogged for a while, actually since late 2012. I took a break as certain changes in my life were being made. I haven't made all the changes yet, however I have been encouraged to get back to blogging for one major reason: fulfilling purpose.

A clarion call is being made in the heavens and in the earth. That call is to go forward! Don't allow the vicissitudes of life to hinder your progress. Life may offer different permutations or variations. However, you must go forward irrespective of the flips life has thrown at you. Don't wait for everything to be perfect. Abraham and Sarah were passed humanely perfect conditions for having children, but God came through for them. When Lazarus was called from the grave he came out bound from the top of his head to the feet with grave-clothes. Unbelievably, he moved forward from the place of captivity, death, extinction, obscurity, elimination, to the place of it's over John 11:43-44

I want to encourage you to move forward. You may still have habits or situations that have bound you from the top to the bottom of life, like grave- clothes in certain cultures, however, go forward. It may be your past or a stinking situation in life, don't allow it to deter your progress forward. Life is to be filled and fuelled with progress not regression.

There is a call going forth right now to come out of every tomb life has somehow confined you to. God reminded me that if He made dry bones to come together like He showed Ezekiel then what impossibility can hold anyone back. I have made a choice to answer His call to come out of every man made grave and go forward.

Moses and the children of Israel had the Red Sea in front and the enemies at the back. However, taking a step forward in obedience to God resulted in a mighty miracle Exodus 14:15. My prayer is that as you go forward may every Red sea scenario in life be parted on your behalf. God has you in mind and desires you go forward to the land of milk and honey that He prepared for you!

Blessings,

CK

Now is....

Everyday I seek to share something that I have learnt through the daily reading. I make a choice to discipline myself not to write too much as we inundated with a lot of reading material. Feel free to add comments because that way we share and thus encourage one another to grow into the fullness of Christ. Today I am amazed at the fact that God will always remember His covenant and fulfill the promise. I want to list five words in the order they appear in one scripture that showed God is at work in our lives. Remembered : My God will never forget me. To be delayed is not to be denied as God will surely remember. God spoke and said to Sarah that He would return at the appointed time; at the right season!!! I do believe that we are in a season where we will see God begin to act on the promises that seem forgotten. Or better put in another way there is a resurrection of seemingly forgotten prophecies that is about to take place. Dry bones are beginning to take shape. Listened : No longer ...

Blessing or ....

To live well is one thing we all desire. I have never met anyone who did not want to live well. By living well for some people it means helping others. For others it means having a successful business. Yet for others it means travelling the world. I have discovered that it is not money that empowers but the blessing of God that empowers. Money is simply one of the many ways that the effects of the blessing may show up. Many times today in society we confuse money with being blessed yet people like Mother Teresa did not flaunt money but her life still is blessing many people round the world. The book of Deuteronomy has challenged me to desire to be blessed. Anyone who has walked with the blessing of God in their live has seen doors open that are a struggle for others. Yesterday I wrote about obedience. What obedience opens our lives to is the operation of the blessing. By choosing to obey the Word we are choosing to open our lives to be blessed. The purpose of being blessed is not self ...

Absalom's Treachery

Day 91 Reading: 2 Sam. 14:1 - 2 Sam. 15:37 One of life's most painful lessons is the treachery of human beings. When family or friends hurt you and leave you grieving the pain is not the same as when someone out on the street does something wrong. The pain goes deeper and it's easy to become bitter. Absalom had fled from Israel knowing that he was a wanted man for the murder and revenge on Ammon his step-brother. Joab arranged for a wise woman to go see David and get him to forgive Absalom. The wise woman made David realise that he was not setting a godly example by exiling Absalom. The wise woman made David understand that God will not banish anyone but he will seek the person out. God will do everything in His power to restore the banished person. The wise woman was asking David not to forget the grace of God that enables one to enjoy forgiveness. David gets Absalom brought back to Jerusalem however for 2 years he didn't see him. Now, this was worse than ...
