Restoration

You and I are living in exciting times. The day of God's glory and power is not only coming but it is upon us just as God through His prophets spoke. I believe that we are at the pinnacle of a mighty move of God. In every decade through history we see a move of God that advances the kingdom of God. You and I have a pivotal role to play as the days go by. We are not called to drift through life but to fulfill purpose. You and I are the writing of God that humanity reads as they go through life. I believe that I am to be the expression of God's manifestation wherever I go. I am a covenant product and have the forces of covenant working on my behalf. As I walk within the boundaries of the covenant I access the promises and blessings of the covenant of Abraham.

Before God can do anything we must be ready. To prepare ourselves for what he wants to do requires a number of steps.
  1. Repentance: There is a call to repent and come to the place where we worship God and de-clutter our lives from everything that hinders our walk with Him. We need to check ourselves and see whether God really reigns. Abraham was blessed of God because he held onto nothing but was willing to sacrifice everything for God Hos 14:1-2,4 Joel 2:12-14.
  2. Prayer and fasting: God is looking for a man or woman that will be willing to cry out to Him for the nation Eze 33:7, Ps 115:16, Joel 2:17. There can be no move of God in any life without prayer being made. God needs you to prayer to access the area of your need. Without prayer there can be no change. Without prayer one cannot walk with God into all that God has ordained for them. Make an appointment with God in the place of prayer and He will make a point of turning around your disappointments. The answer to fervent God ordained prayer is refreshing rain Hos 10:12. There is a rain that comes from God as a consequence of prayer. This rain is refreshing, and brings about satisfaction as it causes growth as a result of freedom from captivity Joel 2:18-19.
  3. Praise: Thanksgiving will cause rivers of joy to flow through you as you are refreshed Joel 2:21-23
The end result of is that restoration takes place Joel 2:25 Amos 9:11. You and I as believers are to prepare to see God restore the the glory of His power and wisdom in our lives. 2010 will be great because we are being restored to the place that God has apportioned as rightfully ours. This year and the coming years will see an acceleration of God's restoration to the believer that is hungry for Him alone. Those who will choose to follow Him all the way will display His glory giving and sharing the knowledge of the fullness of God to the world. God is looking for people who will be willing to walk together with Him Amos 3:3. God is looking for those who will agree with the plans of heaven that they may be fulfilled here on earth. God is seeking for people who will hunger for Him in this generation. I have made up my mind that it's God or God only. I have no other option or plan B. Only God, He is my plan!! Get ready....great days lie ahead!!!

Now is....

Everyday I seek to share something that I have learnt through the daily reading. I make a choice to discipline myself not to write too much as we inundated with a lot of reading material. Feel free to add comments because that way we share and thus encourage one another to grow into the fullness of Christ. Today I am amazed at the fact that God will always remember His covenant and fulfill the promise. I want to list five words in the order they appear in one scripture that showed God is at work in our lives. Remembered : My God will never forget me. To be delayed is not to be denied as God will surely remember. God spoke and said to Sarah that He would return at the appointed time; at the right season!!! I do believe that we are in a season where we will see God begin to act on the promises that seem forgotten. Or better put in another way there is a resurrection of seemingly forgotten prophecies that is about to take place. Dry bones are beginning to take shape. Listened : No longer ...

Blessing or ....

To live well is one thing we all desire. I have never met anyone who did not want to live well. By living well for some people it means helping others. For others it means having a successful business. Yet for others it means travelling the world. I have discovered that it is not money that empowers but the blessing of God that empowers. Money is simply one of the many ways that the effects of the blessing may show up. Many times today in society we confuse money with being blessed yet people like Mother Teresa did not flaunt money but her life still is blessing many people round the world. The book of Deuteronomy has challenged me to desire to be blessed. Anyone who has walked with the blessing of God in their live has seen doors open that are a struggle for others. Yesterday I wrote about obedience. What obedience opens our lives to is the operation of the blessing. By choosing to obey the Word we are choosing to open our lives to be blessed. The purpose of being blessed is not self ...

Absalom's Treachery

Day 91 Reading: 2 Sam. 14:1 - 2 Sam. 15:37 One of life's most painful lessons is the treachery of human beings. When family or friends hurt you and leave you grieving the pain is not the same as when someone out on the street does something wrong. The pain goes deeper and it's easy to become bitter. Absalom had fled from Israel knowing that he was a wanted man for the murder and revenge on Ammon his step-brother. Joab arranged for a wise woman to go see David and get him to forgive Absalom. The wise woman made David realise that he was not setting a godly example by exiling Absalom. The wise woman made David understand that God will not banish anyone but he will seek the person out. God will do everything in His power to restore the banished person. The wise woman was asking David not to forget the grace of God that enables one to enjoy forgiveness. David gets Absalom brought back to Jerusalem however for 2 years he didn't see him. Now, this was worse than ...
