He Never Fails

Have you ever wanted a friend who never fails? Am sure that would be one present every human being would write on their top ten Christmas presents. We are now reading Numbers the fourth book in the bible. This book is filled with stories of God's unfailing covenant.

I have been thinking today of how indeed God is faithful. Even when I think He has failed, the Eternal One can see a bigger picture which at times my finite mind cannot comprehend. I have today learnt to view things from the Unfailing One's perspective. I have today learnt that His objectives are of a higher priority than mine.

If God could supply for the needs of an entire nation in a desert, defending, defeating their enemies, providing water from a rock, showing Himself to be but God what cant He do. To doubt His faithfulness to deliver is to lose leverage for success in life. To doubt His direction, instructions, and promises causes a loss of hope. To be without hope is to settle for failure.

I encourage you today to be courageous in your entire lifestyle towards your faith in God. God has never failed a person totally given to Him. To be courageous requires the correct perspective of the enemies or hindrances towards your fulfillment. See things in the light of the Great I Am and this will affect your thoughts, speech and life. Your speech reflects your hope. Refuse to allow fearful thoughts in your mind. Trust Him...He is faithful to deliver!!!

Lessons From A Parable

Day 259 Reading: Luke 14:1 - Luke 16:31 The thoughts that God has for you are too many to be counted. Jesus while speaking asked the disciples if they knew the number of hairs that fall off their head? Jesus told them that God is so interested in the minute details about us that He knows when one hair falls down. God is so detailed about our lives because He is good. When you embrace the goodness of God by understanding that God's love towards us is immeasurable. Whilst reading today's passages my heart was refreshed as I read a very famous parable featuring the prodigal son.   Jesus tells us of two sons and a father. Absalom's Treachery

Day 91 Reading: 2 Sam. 14:1 - 2 Sam. 15:37 One of life's most painful lessons is the treachery of human beings. When family or friends hurt you and leave you grieving the pain is not the same as when someone out on the street does something wrong. The pain goes deeper and it's easy to become bitter. Absalom had fled from Israel knowing that he was a wanted man for the murder and revenge on Ammon his step-brother. Joab arranged for a wise woman to go see David and get him to forgive Absalom. The wise woman made David realise that he was not setting a godly example by exiling Absalom. The wise woman made David understand that God will not banish anyone but he will seek the person out.
