Is Anything Too Hard For God?

Day 204

Reading: Jeremiah 29:1 - Jeremiah 34:22

I sat down thinking of what I was going to write even before I read the scriptures. Deep down I knew that today's blog would recharge one's faith. I don't know what devils you are fighting, however, I do know that there are many to be fought at this hour in life. One thing I have been encouraged today as I read the passage of scripture is that God is a covenant keeping God.

Before you go any further may I challenge you and ask where have you written down your prophecies? If God would tell Jeremiah to write down prophecies, how much more us today. Learn to write down every prophesy you receive. This helps as a reminder of what God has promised you. Prophesies are trajectories for your life to take. Use the promises God  reveals to you as stepping stones to the next level. Let every prophetic word you receive be a step up a ladder towards God and all that He has ordained for you. It's important to write down prophecies so that you have a testimony of what God is doing and about to do in your life.

Jeremiah declared that nothing is too hard for God in prayer and in responding to him God asked Jeremiah if anything is too hard for Jehovah? Many times in life while waiting on God to respond to seemingly impossible situations we need to remind ourselves that nothing is too hard for Him. Patience and perseverance are required to see promises become alive. Many times we miss out on what God wants for us because we are hasty. A hasty person's plans we learn in Proverbs leads to poverty Proverbs 21:5. Learn to be still and wait on God Psalms 46:10. Waiting for God to show up is part of His process. Always wait on Him knowing that He sees the bigger picture. When one is hasty they don't want to walk in God's timing. Solomon said there is a time for everything, however, we must understand that God holds time in His hands and we need to walk with Him to affect our time.

Another reason why nothing is too hard for God apart from history in Him fulfilling prophecy is that God is a Covenant Keeping God. His covenants never fail. Know this for certain the sound of joy will fill your life. Gladness will soon be written all over you. Jeremiah prophesied how the inhabitants of Judah would be taken captive but then he also bought land because the day would come when the joy would return to the land. Maybe right now your life, marriage, home, business, academics, career may be desolate and run over by every wrong thing in life. I have news for you joy will be heard in again. Get ready for God is not delighted by your laying wasted. He desires to flood you with goodness in all that pertains to you.

To show us that nothing is too hard for God, we find that God issues a promise asking that we call Him to see great and mighty things in our lives. Prayer is necessary for prophecy to come to pass. Prayer is necessary to hear God. Prayer is the labour room where prophecy is delivered into manifestation. The groaning of prayer is needed to see God's promises come alive. God cannot do anything on earth without your praying Psalms 115:16. Call him and get ready to see great things. Nothing is too hard for God.

Now is....

Everyday I seek to share something that I have learnt through the daily reading. I make a choice to discipline myself not to write too much as we inundated with a lot of reading material. Feel free to add comments because that way we share and thus encourage one another to grow into the fullness of Christ. Today I am amazed at the fact that God will always remember His covenant and fulfill the promise. I want to list five words in the order they appear in one scripture that showed God is at work in our lives. Remembered : My God will never forget me. To be delayed is not to be denied as God will surely remember. God spoke and said to Sarah that He would return at the appointed time; at the right season!!! I do believe that we are in a season where we will see God begin to act on the promises that seem forgotten. Or better put in another way there is a resurrection of seemingly forgotten prophecies that is about to take place. Dry bones are beginning to take shape. Listened : No longer ...

Blessing or ....

To live well is one thing we all desire. I have never met anyone who did not want to live well. By living well for some people it means helping others. For others it means having a successful business. Yet for others it means travelling the world. I have discovered that it is not money that empowers but the blessing of God that empowers. Money is simply one of the many ways that the effects of the blessing may show up. Many times today in society we confuse money with being blessed yet people like Mother Teresa did not flaunt money but her life still is blessing many people round the world. The book of Deuteronomy has challenged me to desire to be blessed. Anyone who has walked with the blessing of God in their live has seen doors open that are a struggle for others. Yesterday I wrote about obedience. What obedience opens our lives to is the operation of the blessing. By choosing to obey the Word we are choosing to open our lives to be blessed. The purpose of being blessed is not self ...

Absalom's Treachery

Day 91 Reading: 2 Sam. 14:1 - 2 Sam. 15:37 One of life's most painful lessons is the treachery of human beings. When family or friends hurt you and leave you grieving the pain is not the same as when someone out on the street does something wrong. The pain goes deeper and it's easy to become bitter. Absalom had fled from Israel knowing that he was a wanted man for the murder and revenge on Ammon his step-brother. Joab arranged for a wise woman to go see David and get him to forgive Absalom. The wise woman made David realise that he was not setting a godly example by exiling Absalom. The wise woman made David understand that God will not banish anyone but he will seek the person out. God will do everything in His power to restore the banished person. The wise woman was asking David not to forget the grace of God that enables one to enjoy forgiveness. David gets Absalom brought back to Jerusalem however for 2 years he didn't see him. Now, this was worse than ...
