Your Day of Lifting is Here

Day 209

Reading: Jeremiah 51:1 - Jeremiah 52:34

Do you know God loves you? Does this make you jump with joy? God loves you unconditionally. Reading through the Book of Jeremiah I have come to appreciate the lengths that God will go for His children. God will not forsake His children even when He judges them for their sin. The Book of Jeremiah ends with a great testimony. As I read this testimony I understood that my time for a lifting is here.

For 37 years Jehoiachin was imprisoned whilst in captivity. He wore prison garments and not kingly robes. Many today are wearing sickness, failure and the issues of life as robes and not the kingly robes of being a child of God. One day and that day has come for you and me, the king changed his status. A king whose name means evil-death changed Jehoichin's status. Jehoiachin means Jehovah will establish. God can cause someone to change your status. It doesn't matter who or how evil they are.

My dear reader wherever you are reading from I know life has a way of throwing us a prison sentence. You may be behind bars in sickness, or marital issues, or financial lack, or just stagnated in life where nothing seems to be working. I have news for you God will establish you and ensure your status changes.

Jehoiachin was so favoured that he was given a more prominent place. Get ready to seat where others will envy you. You have looked to the seat where other kings are sat but God will lift you higher. Your provision in this new dimension will be greater and is already assured. Jehoiachin's supplies were met by the king. God has your supply all sorted out.

Celebrate that God whose love for you cannot be broken, indeed His covenant of love for you is so set in stone that if you could break the covenant of day and night you can then say that God cannot love you. As we know day and night are set to happen and irrespective of what you do days will continue. I announce to you in that same way God is moving you from whatever prison you have been in to the place where kings will envy you, a more prominent place. God is the God of recompense. Your hour of recompense is here.

Memory Verse: Jeremiah 51:15

Decree:

Jeremiah 52:33
So Charles changed from his prison garments, and he ate bread regularly before the king all the days of his life. (italics mine)

Now is....

Everyday I seek to share something that I have learnt through the daily reading. I make a choice to discipline myself not to write too much as we inundated with a lot of reading material. Feel free to add comments because that way we share and thus encourage one another to grow into the fullness of Christ. Today I am amazed at the fact that God will always remember His covenant and fulfill the promise. I want to list five words in the order they appear in one scripture that showed God is at work in our lives. Remembered : My God will never forget me. To be delayed is not to be denied as God will surely remember. God spoke and said to Sarah that He would return at the appointed time; at the right season!!! I do believe that we are in a season where we will see God begin to act on the promises that seem forgotten. Or better put in another way there is a resurrection of seemingly forgotten prophecies that is about to take place. Dry bones are beginning to take shape. Listened : No longer ...

Blessing or ....

To live well is one thing we all desire. I have never met anyone who did not want to live well. By living well for some people it means helping others. For others it means having a successful business. Yet for others it means travelling the world. I have discovered that it is not money that empowers but the blessing of God that empowers. Money is simply one of the many ways that the effects of the blessing may show up. Many times today in society we confuse money with being blessed yet people like Mother Teresa did not flaunt money but her life still is blessing many people round the world. The book of Deuteronomy has challenged me to desire to be blessed. Anyone who has walked with the blessing of God in their live has seen doors open that are a struggle for others. Yesterday I wrote about obedience. What obedience opens our lives to is the operation of the blessing. By choosing to obey the Word we are choosing to open our lives to be blessed. The purpose of being blessed is not self ...

Absalom's Treachery

Day 91 Reading: 2 Sam. 14:1 - 2 Sam. 15:37 One of life's most painful lessons is the treachery of human beings. When family or friends hurt you and leave you grieving the pain is not the same as when someone out on the street does something wrong. The pain goes deeper and it's easy to become bitter. Absalom had fled from Israel knowing that he was a wanted man for the murder and revenge on Ammon his step-brother. Joab arranged for a wise woman to go see David and get him to forgive Absalom. The wise woman made David realise that he was not setting a godly example by exiling Absalom. The wise woman made David understand that God will not banish anyone but he will seek the person out. God will do everything in His power to restore the banished person. The wise woman was asking David not to forget the grace of God that enables one to enjoy forgiveness. David gets Absalom brought back to Jerusalem however for 2 years he didn't see him. Now, this was worse than ...
