Behold

As I have been reading and listening to the bible one word has stood out today, "Behold". This word simply calls out. It just simply puts a stop to whatever was said before. Behold!!! Indeed be hold!!! Life at times needs a a behold moment. When life just does not make sense we need a behold moment. As I thought about 2010 I heard the word behold ministering to me. Let me make an announcement to you, behold 2010 will be great!!

Don't think that your tomorrow will be the same as yesterday. Life will not be the same because you and I are living in a behold moment before God. The Word declares that my Redeemer is strong. As I read the book of Jeremiah I have come to realise that God will not allow my enemies to triumph over me. Life may look unfair when the enemy is holding you captive, but guess what God will not allow this forever. No evil is permanent. God will always pardon and turn around the circumstances of His people. It is for this reason that I am glad that my God proclaims the word behold!! Below are just some statements that crossed my mind as I thought about the fact that God is indeed calling me to a behold moment.

Behold this year will be different!
Behold this year you will take flight into a higher plateau in life.
Behold you will know what you have always sought for.
Behold health will be your portion.
Behold restoration will be your experience from now.
Behold you will find Me when you seek me with all your heart.
Behold you are entering a new place of joy as My hand will fight for you where you cannot fight for yourself.
Behold the picture in your mind of abundance will become real.
Behold I am calling you to a closer walk with Me.
Behold I am seeking for you to stand in the gap for this generation.
Behold I love you and this year that love will cause you to rise!!

Have a beholding 2010!!!

Blessing or ....

To live well is one thing we all desire. I have never met anyone who did not want to live well. By living well for some people it means helping others. For others it means having a successful business. Yet for others it means travelling the world. I have discovered that it is not money that empowers but the blessing of God that empowers. Money is simply one of the many ways that the effects of the blessing may show up. Many times today in society we confuse money with being blessed yet people like Mother Teresa did not flaunt money but her life still is blessing many people round the world. Absalom's Treachery

Day 91 Reading: 2 Sam. 14:1 - 2 Sam. 15:37 One of life's most painful lessons is the treachery of human beings. When family or friends hurt you and leave you grieving the pain is not the same as when someone out on the street does something wrong. The pain goes deeper and it's easy to become bitter. Absalom had fled from Israel knowing that he was a wanted man for the murder and revenge on Ammon his step-brother. Joab arranged for a wise woman to go see David and get him to forgive Absalom. The wise woman made David realise that he was not setting a godly example by exiling Absalom. The wise woman made David understand that God will not banish anyone but he will seek the person out. God will do everything in His power to restore the banished person. The wise woman was asking David not to forget the grace of God that enables one to enjoy forgiveness.
