I See Great Days Ahead

I am preparing for the greatest times of my life ahead. One may say that I am being audacious in my declaration of my future, but I am simply convinced and obsessed by the Word that greater days lie ahead. The foundation of stability for the road ahead is in wisdom and knowledge. For one to see God's promises come to pass you will need to have God's insight to possess the future. One great treasure we must seek after is the fear of the Lord.

I do believe that I am in the generation that will see the glory of the Lord revealed. Get ready to see the valley raised, the mountain levelled, the crooked path become straight, and the rough places of life become smooth. Get ready to see God in all his power. For too long the Church has not seen the power of God. We are about to see the demonstration of the power of God for behold He shall come with a strong hand to establish His authority. God is about to display His Kingdom is ways never seen before.

But who will see His power in this generation? Those who wait upon Him. Waiting on God will induce supernatural strength that will enable one to run beyond human capabilities. Waiting on God will cause you to raise above the storms that the world will experience as creation convulses at God's judgement. Get ready to walk into greatness as you possess the land as waiting on God will cause us to be different from others who are walking after other gods!!!

It is only possible to see the glory of God when you are convinced of who you God is. He is the Creator of the Heavens and Earth. He sits above the universe and the inhabitants are as grasshoppers. He stretched out the heavens, the expanse we call the sky as a curtain; we cannot liken or equate anyone to Him. His greatness is unique and beyond measure. His ability is beyond understanding. He is the Everlasting God, He neither faints nor is weary of me. He is my Strength giving me the confidence to walk without any fear. He is my Help making me a new threshing sledge ready to harvest my destiny to the glory of His name.

A better tomorrow

Everyone is hopeful for a better tomorrow. That's why we say "Good morning" at the start of the day. It's an indicator of the hope within that welcomes the dawning of a new day to bring better fortunes our way. God's mercies are new every morning and His compassion does not fail. When faced with adversity it becomes harder to see a better tomorrow, but resilient people are focused on the fact that trouble is only a comma in the sentence of life. At a time where fear has gripped many hearts because of various reasons, it is difficult to remain hopeful. Without hope, you cannot have the faith necessary to live. Faith is the substance of what is hoped for. Faith gives hope tangibility. To be without hope is to open the door of low living. Hopelessness is the start of damnation in life. You and I were born for a reason. We are not just statistics, making up numbers in any particular nation. You and I were born to reign in life. That situation that has so far made...

Absalom's Treachery

Day 91 Reading: 2 Sam. 14:1 - 2 Sam. 15:37 One of life's most painful lessons is the treachery of human beings. When family or friends hurt you and leave you grieving the pain is not the same as when someone out on the street does something wrong. The pain goes deeper and it's easy to become bitter. Absalom had fled from Israel knowing that he was a wanted man for the murder and revenge on Ammon his step-brother. Joab arranged for a wise woman to go see David and get him to forgive Absalom. The wise woman made David realise that he was not setting a godly example by exiling Absalom. The wise woman made David understand that God will not banish anyone but he will seek the person out. God will do everything in His power to restore the banished person. The wise woman was asking David not to forget the grace of God that enables one to enjoy forgiveness. David gets Absalom brought back to Jerusalem however for 2 years he didn't see him. Now, this was worse than ...

Lessons From A Parable

Day 259 Reading: Luke 14:1 - Luke 16:31 The thoughts that God has for you are too many to be counted. Jesus while speaking asked the disciples if they knew the number of hairs that fall off their head? Jesus told them that God is so interested in the minute details about us that He knows when one hair falls down. God is so detailed about our lives because He is good. When you embrace the goodness of God by understanding that God's love towards us is immeasurable. Whilst reading today's passages my heart was refreshed as I read a very famous parable featuring the prodigal son.   Jesus tells us of two sons and a father. The younger son asked for his inheritance and left home leaving the elder son and his father.  The younger went to a faraway land and wasted his life. He soon was dead broke, deserted by his new found friends and looking for a job. He soon was working for a farmer feeding his pigs. His job must have been so mundane with low pay as he ate the food the...
