Fear Not!!!

Everyone has a dream, and I mean everyone!! Dreams or aspirations come in different sizes. The issue is not the dream but that with every dream we encounter hurdles, or obstacles or challenges towards their fulfillment. Every dream is achievable if one is dogged to pursue it. To achieve the dream one has to break it down into goals that are steps towards fulfilling the big dream!!

The greatest hindrance to fulfillment is FEAR. Fear is not out of the blue. Fear is False Evidence Appearing Real. You see when you focus on facts that are not the truth the feeling of impending danger becomes more real.Truth sets one free. A lie creates fear. The only healthy fear is the fear of God. Any other fear should be questioned as its results are not wholesome.

The Word of God is truth waiting to free anyone who meditates on it. The Word of God empowers one to walk from the place of fear to freedom. Fear is broken by knowing the truth intimately. Meditating on truth results in being set free. When the Word is believed and readily appropriated in everyday life fear is evicted. The bible encourages me not to fear. Why? Because God is bigger than anything that tries to derail the purpose of God. Learn to focus on the truth of the Word and not on the facts presented to you. Decide that the truth of the Word is more real than the facts of life. Sign the contract of life offered by the Word of God and reject the contract offered by circumstances, situations, surroundings, medical reports or life in general. Live your life by the Word and see God do things that were deemed impossible. Fear Not and 2010 will indeed be great!! The fuel to fear not is found in meditating on bible truth and walking in the company of bold faithful people.

Now is....

Everyday I seek to share something that I have learnt through the daily reading. I make a choice to discipline myself not to write too much as we inundated with a lot of reading material. Feel free to add comments because that way we share and thus encourage one another to grow into the fullness of Christ. Today I am amazed at the fact that God will always remember His covenant and fulfill the promise. I want to list five words in the order they appear in one scripture that showed God is at work in our lives. Remembered : My God will never forget me. To be delayed is not to be denied as God will surely remember. God spoke and said to Sarah that He would return at the appointed time; at the right season!!! I do believe that we are in a season where we will see God begin to act on the promises that seem forgotten. Or better put in another way there is a resurrection of seemingly forgotten prophecies that is about to take place. Dry bones are beginning to take shape. Listened : No longer ...

Blessing or ....

To live well is one thing we all desire. I have never met anyone who did not want to live well. By living well for some people it means helping others. For others it means having a successful business. Yet for others it means travelling the world. I have discovered that it is not money that empowers but the blessing of God that empowers. Money is simply one of the many ways that the effects of the blessing may show up. Many times today in society we confuse money with being blessed yet people like Mother Teresa did not flaunt money but her life still is blessing many people round the world. The book of Deuteronomy has challenged me to desire to be blessed. Anyone who has walked with the blessing of God in their live has seen doors open that are a struggle for others. Yesterday I wrote about obedience. What obedience opens our lives to is the operation of the blessing. By choosing to obey the Word we are choosing to open our lives to be blessed. The purpose of being blessed is not self ...

Absalom's Treachery

Day 91 Reading: 2 Sam. 14:1 - 2 Sam. 15:37 One of life's most painful lessons is the treachery of human beings. When family or friends hurt you and leave you grieving the pain is not the same as when someone out on the street does something wrong. The pain goes deeper and it's easy to become bitter. Absalom had fled from Israel knowing that he was a wanted man for the murder and revenge on Ammon his step-brother. Joab arranged for a wise woman to go see David and get him to forgive Absalom. The wise woman made David realise that he was not setting a godly example by exiling Absalom. The wise woman made David understand that God will not banish anyone but he will seek the person out. God will do everything in His power to restore the banished person. The wise woman was asking David not to forget the grace of God that enables one to enjoy forgiveness. David gets Absalom brought back to Jerusalem however for 2 years he didn't see him. Now, this was worse than ...
