Day 8
Reading: Gen. 26:1-Gen. 28:22
In the times of a famine, one must be sensitive to know what to do. Many times we respond with knee-jerk reactions. Isaac wanted to move to a new place, however, God had other ideas. He advised Isaac where to stay and promised to bless him. God will speak to us in our times of need and will sustain us through the covenant. Isaac was a covenant child and the covenant of God with his father would come alive. May the covenant of God come alive for me daily.
Isaac sowed. In the time of a famine take action that God can cause to bear fruit. He sowed in the ground. He reaped 100 times what he sowed. Learn to seek God for strategies of increase in the famine. The world is heading to a famine and every believer needs to learn how to prosper in the midst of a famine. What technology did Isaac use to see a crop harvest in a famine? There is nothing God cannot do to ensure His covenant is manifested. Where obedience to God is in play the covenant will manifest.
Today marks a new beginning in my life. I begin to prosper, will continue to prosper and will become very prosperous. There is a place God can bless a person they become the envy of the world. The believer for too long has admired others and forgotten that they are created to be the light. People admire those who are on pedestals. Are you ready to be a Kingdom Lighthouse? Isaac went into the land of the Philistines in a time of famine but they sent him away later for he was mightier than them. Abimelech saw that the blessing of God was at work in Isaac's life. The blessing of God makes one mighty over time. Allow the Word of God to have full effect by providing an environment for it to be established as the operating system within.
Isaac dug the wells that his father had dug. The church needs to dig the wells of the fathers. The wells of revival need to be dug again. Personally, I need to understand that Isaac arrived at a place where God made room for him because he persisted. Persist and you will break through. Persist and you will arrive. Persist and you will unlock the well as God makes room for you.
May God place people around me who will help bring prophesy to pass. Rebekah knew that Jacob was to carry the promise of the covenant. Now I'm not condoning scheming, however, pray that you are surrounded by people who will open doors towards prophetic fulfilment in your life. May the Lord bring for me all that I need to provoke my prophetic blessing. Not only did Isaac bless Jacob he also decreed the blessing of Abraham would manifest in his life.
Esau may have missed the blessing however he received a key to overcoming his brother's blessing- restlessness of his predicament. Unless you are restless you cannot break out of captivity. Lord may I be restless to break free of every limitation man has set over me.
May I always arrive at the place where a portal between Heaven and Earth is accessible to me. Jacob arrived a place where he met with God and made a vow. Life may cause you to run away, in those times seek God and make a vow and keep it.
Memory verse: Gen. 26:13
Decree:
Father, I thank You for this day. I decree that from today I begin to prosper, will continue to prosper and become prosperous. I decree that the blessing of Abraham works mightily in my life. I will not sell my birthright. I decree that God is making room for me, for my family, business and ministry. I will persist and be consistent in my pursuit for that which is the well of God. I decree that I am envied by the world. I decree that I am a lighthouse of God's Kingdom. I decree that I am considered mighty in the world and the world will see that God is with me. I decree that I will break free from every bondage and will not be complacent but I am restless in my spirit with living beneath the life God has set for me. I decree that I am continually connected to heaven and offer my life as a living sacrifice to God in Jesus name. Amen.
